看過電影《環太平洋》(Pacific Rim)後，你是否想親自駕馭它們進行戰鬥？環太平洋推出同名格鬥遊戲，與電影相同，玩家須操控巨大機器人，與其他機器人對戰。

劇情與電影一樣，在太平洋中的巨大蟲洞，從中爬出大量超大型怪獸。太平洋周邊國家為了對抗巨大怪獸的威脅，將展開代號「賊鷗」的作戰計畫，駕駛員們將搭乘各國製造的巨大機器人，來與威脅人類的怪獸決一死戰。

不同於傳統格鬥遊戲，戰場範圍就像一個海上擂台，期間不時穿梭空中的直升機等細節也沒放過。玩家可在擂台遊走，閃躲敵人攻擊並找尋空檔，且使用4個鍵都有不同的攻擊方法，配合方向鍵更有強力攻擊，繞到敵人後方時，記得迎頭痛擊，讓敵人吃記悶虧。

該遊戲完整重現電影中巨大機器人和巨大怪獸的決戰。遊戲中不僅可以機器人對怪獸，玩家也可以選擇機器人對機器人、怪獸對怪獸等對戰組合。喜愛格鬥遊戲或電影者絕不能錯過。
