長期處於資訊焦慮的黃子佼，預定七月底二度受邀赴東京參加《人像寫真專科》攝影聯展，不過卻因與大陸選秀節目決賽撞期，影響赴日航班行程，無法參與大會開幕式，於是行程一早先從江西的南昌飛台北，晚上隨即搭機飛往東京，真的是一日跑遍東南西北！
而這也是他二度受邀參加日本最大《人像寫真專科》聯展，該展自2007年創立，包括常駐攝影師與徵選攝影師作品，數十人共同聯展。

自去年起特邀喜歡拍人像的黃子佼參與，成為海外參展第一位常任攝影師，去年他到場參與時，從開幕派對起，到整棟樓的攝影觀賞，感覺熱鬧又專業，今年輸人不輸陣，他更有備而來，以參展作品《人魚》系列，從去年7張相片更增加到三種尺寸共29張作品！
今年三月起開始秘密進行四個月，動員包括人氣女神雞排妹、正妹魔術師王子妃等11位台灣美女，模特兒費用比去年多了十倍，而她們得先站立後再下腰，展現肢體曲線極度仰後，並面向鏡頭做出表情。
而黃子佼也親自示範靠腰後仰式，竟達不到美女的標準，只好自嘲：攝影師都是虐待狂啦！許多美女的臉都已經認不出是本人，脊椎不好的雞排妹鄭佳純更得靠經紀人扶妥就位，才能緩慢下腰到達高難度下腰位置。
