新iPad mini傳升級Retina　供應仍靠三星

【陳智偉／綜合外電報導】蘋果（Apple）供應商透露，次世代iPad mini將搭載高解析度retina（視網膜）螢幕，面板供應商仍有三星（SAMSUNG），顯見蘋果難以擺脫對三星倚賴。

據《華爾街日報》報導，蘋果供應商正積極為第4季量產次世代iPad mini準備，據悉螢幕維持7.9吋，但將升級為retina，並考慮採用多彩外殼。

不過，供應商獲知，蘋果為確保次世代iPad mini面板供給無虞，供應商在原本規劃的夏普（SHARP）、樂金顯示器（LG Display，LGD）外，還增加三星電子旗下三星顯示器（Samsung Display）。
