台東縣東河鄉　正式列為狂犬病疫區

【邱俊吉／台北報導】因應狂犬病，衛生福利部與農委會昨緊急成立狂犬病防治跨部會工作小組，今上午公布首次開會決議，已發生狂犬病的疫區，除南投縣魚池鄉及鹿谷鄉、雲林縣古坑鄉外，正式再加上台東縣東河鄉，民眾若於這4鄉疫區，或於其他山地鄉遭野生哺乳動物或流浪犬、貓抓咬傷，都應立即就醫，並自費接種疫苗。
 
至於國內其他地區，若被野生哺乳動物抓咬傷，也應立即就醫並自費施打疫苗，但若是被流浪貓、狗咬傷，建議不須接種疫苗。
