國人研發夜間車牌辨識技術　僅國外售價的1/10

【許敏溶／台北報導】國外警察的影設備動輒6萬元，高雄應用科技大學開發出領先全球的平價夜間車牌辨識技術，可辨識移動中車輛車牌，性能相同但價格只要1/10，已技轉工研院，將提供警察偵察辦案或作為民眾行車記錄器及一般固定式攝影機使用。

教育部今舉辦「推動技專校院與產學合作成果記者會」，高雄應用科技大學電子工程系教授陳昭和開發的「夜間車牌辨識技術」，為教育部產學合作成果之一。陳昭和說，現有固定式攝影機在夜間或下雨時的車牌辨識度不佳，他開發的辨識軟體，可加強提升辨識度，達到國外高階攝影機的辨識度，且價格僅1/10，可供警方與民眾使用，或取代現有行車記錄器。
