冬季聯盟加勒比海大賽今天(8日)進行4強賽，古巴擊敗預賽全勝的委內瑞拉，明天將跟墨西哥在冠軍賽正面交鋒。

古巴預賽打得跌跌撞撞，以1勝3敗吊車尾晉級4強賽，但今天他們扳倒了預賽4戰全勝的委內瑞拉。

此戰Frederich Cepeda大顯神威，單場4支安打5分打點，是古巴以8比4獲勝的關鍵功臣，他去年在日本職棒巨人隊效力。

墨西哥4強賽以5比4險勝多明尼加，將要挑戰加勒比海大賽3連霸以及5年內的第4座冠軍。

加勒比海大賽開辦於1949年，今年是第57屆賽事，多明尼加贏得其中19次冠軍，墨西哥有8次，古巴則是7次。
