等了17年　桃源國小風雨操場動土

歷時17年、5任校長，台北市桃源國小「風雨操場」今天舉辦動土典禮。北市教育局局長林奕華在致詞時提到，桃源國小的風雨操場是近年繼三玉國小、桃源國中後的第3座，今年7月核發建照、8月完成招標、9月動工，預計明年2月完工、3月啟用，總經費2070萬。桃源國小校長李振鋒說：「下雨時終於不用擠在穿堂、地下室上體育課了。」
 
桃源國小沒有可以遮蔭的大型集會場所。林奕華說，該校從1997年開始規劃「多功能學生活動中心」，但經費要好幾億元，「不知道等到什麼時候；」，且桃源國小也僅300多人，因此改成風雨操場。桃源國小總務主任潘同泰說，風雨操場長34、寬22公尺，棚高8.5公尺，與校舍力行樓相鄰，即使冬天吹東北季風又下雨，大樓也會擋住雨水。（蔡永彬／台北報導）
