（中央社香港30日綜合外電報導）數萬名香港民主抗議群眾今天凌晨依然占據街道，對中共當局持續施壓，使中共面臨自25年前天安門鎮壓以來的最大政治挑戰之一。

鎮暴警察已大致撤退，週末期間的衝突、發射催淚瓦斯和揮舞警棍等場面已不復見。隨著緊張緩和，筋疲力盡的示威者席地而眠，其他人則唱歌或呼口號。

1名年輕警官輕鬆地坐在椅子上，玩弄著手機，附近街道上有數千名示威民眾，有些人唱歌跳舞。

記者詢問何以警察如此少，這名警官答道，「老實說，我不知道，只知道我們累了。我們都是人，需要休息」。(中央社)
