中信兄弟暫居下半季第1名，18日推出洋投桑契斯(Romulo Sanchez)掛帥先發，對決Lamigo桃猿及郭駿傑。

桑契斯8月底加盟兄弟，初期先擔任牛棚投手，前次出賽轉任先發投6局沒有失分無關勝敗，明天(18日)將再次先發上陣，最快球速151公里。

郭駿傑從8月14日起開始固定先發，本季出賽10場(5場先發)繳出2勝2敗自責分率3.32，對戰兄弟被打擊率0.200、自責分率0.71。
