行政院客家委員會2014年北美洲台灣客家月系列活動開跑，首先登場的是「好客文化巡迴列車」，邀請客語老師、歌手、戲曲達人等以及戲劇團、國樂隊等表演。

這次參與「好客文化巡迴列車」的包括了客語教授古國順、金曲歌王湯運煥、戲曲達人劉麗株與國宴主廚邱寶郎；另外參與演出的則有文和傳奇戲劇團、新竹紅如國樂團以及金曲獎得主東東樂團等，結合國語、台語與客語，展現台灣多元文化的一面。

駐洛杉磯台北經濟文化辦事處處長夏季昌出席記者會，歡迎來自台灣的客家團隊。夏季昌指出，在海外要看到客家表演並不容易，這次客家月活動可以集結許多客家團體及人士到洛杉磯表演，介紹台灣最好的戲曲，相當難得。

僑務委員邱啟宜也指出，文和傳奇戲劇團在前來美國之前，才剛獲得客委會舉辦戲曲徵選比賽的第1名，而這次除了文和傳奇戲劇團之外，還有邱寶郎等著名客家人士舉辦講座，讓更多人了解客家文化。

文和傳奇戲劇團稍早已分別在加拿大溫哥華與美國舊金山演出，洛杉磯是第3站，隨後還將前往休士頓、芝加哥等地演出。(中央社)
