核四廠安檢調查，歷經16個月的時間，經濟部終於在30日公布安檢報告，一號機的126個系統健檢「正常」。經濟部長張家祝表示，核四一號機符合安全規範，但目前決議封存計畫初估3年，首年封存費為12-13億元。但台電最初的封存規劃是5年，費用逾150億，但遭張家祝退回。

經濟部在30日召開的「核四安檢專家監督小組」安檢總結會議，公布了核四一號機的安檢報告，原訂在6月底完成，但當時因為消防系統和電纜管道系統尚未完成移交，安檢因此延宕了1個月。

核四的封存預計時間在2015至2017年，但外界質疑封存規劃僅3年，應是考量核一廠一號機，將於2018年除役，這樣核四就可以「無縫接軌」，但經濟部次長杜紫軍否認這項說法。他強調即便核四要重啟，還是得再次經過安檢，並得向原能會申請填裝燃料和測試1年，即便2018年核一廠一號機除役，核四廠也接不上。

台電董事長黃重球提到封存費用，自2015年起封存3年，第1年費用約13億，但其他的人事費用恐得外加。經濟部表示，安檢摘要報告近期會公告上網供民眾查閱，封存計畫在8月底會送交行政院，安檢報告惠在9月底前送往原能會。
