復興航空GE222班機23日晚間降落澎湖馬公機場時在澎湖縣西溪村墜毀，造成48人不幸罹難。空難現場今(27)日已解除封鎖，村民忙著整理家園和物品。澎湖縣政府表示，將會協助居民向復興航空求償。

復興航空失事現場受波及的民宅有10多戶，在解除封鎖後，受災居民持續加緊整理家園，重整受損的屋宅和家具。這次空難造成西溪村10多戶民宅受損，澎湖縣長王乾發25日在祭拜罹難者之後表示，將會協助居民向復興航空求償。

由於澎湖天氣炎熱，白天溫度超過30日，為防止發生疫情，國防部派出化學兵在空難現場進行消毒。消防隊也出動水車，去除飛機燃油味。
