光芒投手David Price觸身球連發，卻引爆紅襪教練團接二連三、前仆後繼地被趕出場。這麼奇怪的事，竟還是發生在紅襪家芬威球場。

一局下，Price賞給老爹David Ortiz觸身球，主審Dan Bellino立刻警告兩隊，但紅襪教頭John Farrell認為，Price應該要受罰。Farrell抗議的結果，卻是自己被趕出去，改由板凳教練Torey Luvollo接掌兵符。

四局下風雲再起，Price又賞出一記觸身球，打在Mike Carp身上，兩隊板凳清空，但並沒有發生肢體衝突。不過，Price還是沒有被趕出去，這可激怒紅襪代總教練Luvollo，上場抗議。

Luvollo沒頭盔可甩，但他怒甩頭上戴的棒球帽，被趕出去，成了這場比賽第二位被驅逐出場的紅襪教練，兵符再交給三壘教練Brian Butterfield。

到了六局上，換成紅襪先發投手Brandon Workman「丟人」，砸中光芒打者Evan Longoria。這回主審的動作十分明快，把Workman趕出去，紅襪「代代總教練」Butterfield連坐、也被驅逐出場，改由打擊教練Greg Colbrunn擔任「代代代總教練」。
