出師未捷身先死，金州勇士才剛傳出有意加入「愛神」Kevin Love爭奪戰，卻因明尼蘇達灰狼索價過高，宣布告吹。

根據《聖荷西水星報》報導，勇士願以前鋒David Lee、Harrison Barnes、Draymond Green與選秀權交換Love，但灰狼還想「加碼」射手Klay Thompson，被勇士拒絕。

由於2013年勇士從丹佛金塊換來「小AI」Andre Iguodala時已經送走2014年的首輪選秀權，如果灰狼還想重啟談判，勇士身上只剩2015年的選秀權，無法在今年的「選秀大年」發揮作用。

Thompson是NBA3年級生，本季平均每場可攻下18.4分、2.8記三分球，是「咖哩小子」Stephen Curry的絕佳戰友。
