前蘇聯口譯員辭世 享壽81歲

前蘇聯領導人赫魯雪夫(Nikita Khrushchev)與戈巴契夫(Mikhail Gorbachev)的御用英語口譯員蘇荷瑞夫(Viktor Sukhodrev)16日在莫斯科辭世，享壽81歲。
蘇荷瑞夫的口譯生涯超過30年，冷戰時期高峰會常出現他的身影，赫魯雪夫的經典名句「我們會埋葬你們(We will bury you)」便是出自他口。
蘇荷瑞夫16日逝世，俄羅斯外交部發表聲明致哀，稱其為「卓越的外交官與翻譯家」，而且「直接參與蘇聯與美國的重大外交事件」。
聲明中也提到，蘇荷瑞夫「學識深厚、觀察入微、幽默獨具且性格溫潤」，將永受世人緬懷。
蘇荷瑞夫生於1932年12月12日，從小生長於倫敦，操著一口流利的英式英語。他的母親在蘇聯經貿代表處工作，父親則是美國的蘇聯情報官。
1956年，蘇荷瑞夫畢業於軍方外語學院，進入前蘇聯外交部服務，自此平步青雲，不久後便成為赫魯雪夫的口譯員；多年下來，他一直在前蘇聯領導人身邊，參與美蘇層峰會議，共經歷過6任美國總統。
