金鶯鐵捕魏特斯　疑手肘韌帶撕裂

金鶯捕手魏特斯(Matt Wieters)，今天並未在對戰光芒的比賽先發，原因是右手肘痠痛，他曾在兩周前也因同樣問題缺陣，明天將去給安德魯斯醫師(Dr. James Andrews)檢查，美國Yahoo專欄作家帕森(Jeff Passan)說：「根據消息，魏特斯最嚴重得動手肘韌帶移植手術。」
 
安德魯斯醫師是「湯米約翰(Tommy John)韌帶移植手術」的權威，魏特斯因手肘痠痛前去給他檢查，可見問題相當嚴重。本季魏特斯狀況不錯，打擊率3成37、5支全壘打，若真的得動韌帶移植手術，本季球季也等於宣告報銷。（王翊亘／綜合報導）
