花蓮美侖溪重油污染　查獲元凶罰25萬

去年12月13日花蓮市美崙溪曙光橋下油污染事件，經花蓮縣環保局鍥而不捨的努力追查下，終於查獲事件污染源頭及行為業者，環保局除了開罰5萬元，並一併追償污染事件發生後的油污染清除善後費用20萬元。

環保局長饒忠表示，美崙溪油污染事件發生時，針對污染事件花蓮縣環境保護局第一時間通知「河川、海洋污染緊急應變小組成員」啟動河川海洋污染緊急應變作業，並橫向通知縣管河川管理單位花蓮縣政府建設處，以及花蓮縣消防局請求設備支援，立即進行現場油污染清除作業，現場佈下3道攔油索控制浮油範圍，同時洽請專業油污染處理業者投入除油設備人力配合除油；另一方面派員沿排放水道追查上游可能油污染源頭，經追查後，終於查獲是某休閒運動會館，清理2座燃燒重油鍋爐時，工作人員不慎傾倒10公升油泥所導致，因此依法開罰並求償油污染處理費。
