多款市售包裝米降等不降價風波引起各界關注，經多方協調後，調降價差最多有40元；農糧署15日調查各大通路賣場確定6家業者降價情況，業者調價幅度有5到40元價差，但業者義美目前仍沒有調降情況。

受各界反應後，農糧署與業者研討出降價方案；其中降價最多的是聯米中興米外銷日本の米，一次調降40元，業者另一款中興香米這次調降售價也差30元，業者降等後決議有感降價。

市面目前共有18款產品跟上降等降價，包括聯米企業共調降10款產品、億東企業降價5款米、台灣家樂福1款、金墩實業1款、宇進實業1款，價差從5到40元都有。

農糧署強調，將持續追蹤降價品項部分，並呼籲，市售食米售價與品質等級、稻種、栽培方式、產區、包裝方式等有關，業者銷售食米的品質等級應要誠實標示，價格也應相稱。而對於還沒有提出「有感降價」業者義美，農糧署則表示，將加強查核業者產品品質。
