記者呂炯昌／台南報導

耗資176億元的經國號(IDF)戰機「翔展」專案計畫，今(16)日上午在台南空軍基地舉行接機典禮，總統馬英九南下親自主持儀式。

現場展示國人自行研發，俗稱「萬劍彈」的「萬劍遙攻精準武器系統」，能夠在敵方防空飛彈射程外打擊敵方軍事與交通設施。除此之外，經國號戰機升級項目包括任務電腦、雷達與飛控軟體，空軍表示升級過後的IDF戰機能夠延長服役壽限20年。
