【蘇威全／綜合報導】24歲大眼女星夏菜，擁有健美好身材，出道7年的她，國中時被星探發掘進入演藝圈，念完高中後沒繼續升學，專心發展演藝事業。但是一開始演出機會並沒有想像得多，直到去年10月受邀主演NHK晨間劇《純與愛》大受歡迎，才打開知名度。
 
她表示，休假時喜歡待在家裡玩線上遊戲，有時候一玩就一整天，她也透露自己有個怪癖，就是洗完澡用浴巾擦完身體後，會全裸在客廳等身體全乾才穿衣服，因為她很不喜歡身體還有水分就穿上衣服的感覺。
