載運物資援帛琉 海軍軍艦傍晚啟程

海燕颱風於11月上旬侵襲帛琉共和國，外交部已於11月12日捐贈10萬美元協助帛琉重建。國防部今天(13日)表示，海軍已編成慈航任務區隊，在下午5時由中和艦、昆明艦載運組合屋資材、水塔、白米等大批援助物資發航前往帛琉馬拉卡港，預計18日抵達，彰顯中華民國人道援助提供者的精神。

國防部下午發布新聞稿指出，這次賑災物資由中華民國紅十字總會募集，共計有組合屋44戶，以及水塔、白米、泡麵等物資160噸。海軍官兵秉持人道關懷精神，日夜不懈、全力執行賑災物資裝載作業，於最短時間內達成任務。

國防部強調，海軍自接獲慈航任務指示後，立即納編相關幹部成立慈航任務區隊，並迅速完成任務艦檢整及航線規劃等相關整備工作，務求任務圓滿遂行。

國防部表示，海軍會將國人的愛心與各界的關懷儘速送抵帛琉災區，讓友邦災民感受到中華民國政府及人民最誠摯的關懷與協助。
