美國眾議院兩黨協商代表剛剛通過新的預算協議，在經過白宮及參議院認可後，聯邦政府可望避免於明(2014)年1月15日再次上演關門，並且可望重建預算審議秩序。

外電消息指出，民主黨及共和黨雙方協商代表將於稍晚召開記者會。

民主黨及共和黨協商代表最大共識在避免重演政府關門，因此都做出一點讓步。根據目前協議內容，美國聯邦政府將自動縮減支出金額約600億美元，2014年減支幅度400億美元，2015年則是200億美元。

為平衡放寬政府支出及減支額度影響，將透過提高航空附加費等收費，增加200億美元收入，降低預算赤字。

根據協議，美國政府2014年支出上限訂1兆美元，也高於2011年協議的9670億美元。

然而協議內容曝光後，國會內部保守派人士已聲稱準備反對，他們並不滿意這份協議中某些自動刪支措施。

全案仍須參眾2院表決，由共和黨主導的眾議院預計將於周五(13日)表決。若眾院順利通過，參院最快也能在本周結束前完成表決。
