美國勞工部周四公布，11月16日結束的一周，美國初次申請失業金人數減少2.1萬至32.3萬人，創9月底以來低點。

接受MarketWatch調查的分析師平均預估，上周初次申請失業金人數為下降至33.4萬人。

該周包含退伍軍人紀念日，有時假日易造成申請人數異常下降。

四周平均初次申請失業金人數減少6750人至338500人。

11月9日結束的一周，持續領取失業金人數增加6.6萬人至288萬人。

二周前，初次申請失業金人數由33.9萬人上修至34.4萬人。
