搶回屏東，國民黨組鐵三角

明年七合一地方選戰，民進黨確定由立委潘孟安出馬角逐屏東縣長寶座。為奪回政權，國民黨規劃由不分區立委蘇清泉、行政院副秘書長簡太郎，以及前立委廖婉汝，組成「鐵三角」，分別角逐縣長、立委補選和屏東市長寶座。

由於潘孟安未來可能辭職參選，立委也將補選；屏東地方人士表示，雖然蘇清泉等人迄今沒有表態，但當初提名蘇出任不分區立委，就已有規劃他參選下屆縣長的打算。實力派立委王進士應無參選意願，蘇清泉出馬角逐，也就水到渠成，相對單純。

至於補選的屏南立委，國民黨可能派出「奇兵」，人選直指簡太郎。地方人士分析，簡太郎本身就是屏南人，並非空降，且在民進黨執政時期，就擔任內政部常次，早年也有選舉經驗，是很適合的人選。加上廖婉汝參選屏東市長，蘇、簡、廖三人，將負責帶動屏東選情。
