以色列駐台經濟文化辦事處代表何璽夢 (Simona Halperin) 14日拜會議長賴美惠，除表達促進彼此的教育與科技、農漁業交流意願，並邀約賴議長明年率團實地參訪以色列。賴議長應允連任後一定到以色列一遊。

以色列駐台經濟文化辦事處代表何璽夢 (Simona Halperin) 表示，台灣與以色列相距雖遠，但文化卻多所類似，例如以家庭為重、重視教育，讓她感到格外親切與熟悉。她期待台灣與以色列能有更多交流，尤其以色列水利方面的成就，可供台灣學習，而台灣的養殖亦值得以色列效法。特別是兩國目前免簽證，希望大家明年能到以色列實地參訪。

議長賴美惠對於以色列的智慧與愛國心甚表感佩，也表達參訪以色列的意願，但因明年大家忙於選舉連任，賴議長表示，大家成功連任 後，一定參訪以色列。
