在洋基隊總經理Brian Cashman心中，Alex Rodriguez無可替代！Cashman透露，明年繼續讓A-Rod守三壘，是洋基隊的最佳策略。

「如果沒有其他問題的話，我們會讓這位旗下球員繼續上場嗎？當然！無庸置疑。」Cashman說，「也許有人會想，擺脫這樣一位好手，可以帶來好處，但我想，那是無法替代的。」

要是A-Rod因為種種原因離開洋基，那麼洋基隊可能會省下一大筆開銷，有助達成明年團隊薪資壓低到1億8900萬美元目標，但Cashman說，那不是球隊想要的。

「洋基球迷今年都看到了，我們不少重要球員都成了傷兵，要填補這些戰力空缺，真的不容易，因為好手難尋。」Cashman說。

「撇開爭議，從棒球的角度來看，洋基隊讓A-Rod繼續守三壘，是最佳選擇，比那些其他備案人選都來得好。」 (接下一頁)
