美國人對於萬聖節總是十分的熱衷。不過，美國一名男子對萬聖節的喜愛已經超出了一般人。據英國《每日郵報》10月8日報導，美國作家奧克(J.W. Ocker)在新罕布夏家中，與兩具萬聖節骷髏共同生活，並讓其妻子為他們拍攝『生活照』。

據人民網報導，2012年萬聖節，奧克在塔吉特百貨公司購買了一具裝飾骷髏，起名叫『T』。節日過後，他發現自己不願將T收起來。『我知道我應該把它用作裝飾，但最後它總是和我在一起，我們一起看電影，一起嚇唬我的妻子，總的來說就是我們在一起很快樂。』奧克寫道。和T在一起的日子讓他覺得自己花的錢很值，於是又買了一具骷髏，並起名叫『C』。奧克在他的旅行博客上寫道：『……我現在正準備把我們生活在一起的場景做成電視真人秀』。奧克和兩具骷髏拍攝了許多照片，如一起剪草坪，一起看電影，一起吃飯，一起給屋子裝飾上萬聖節主題等。
