【周佩萱╱綜合外電報導】美國紐約一名11歲的姊姊，為安撫2個月大不停哭泣的妹妹，將她抱上床哄她入睡，自己也在一旁跟著睡著，但因不小心翻身壓在妹妹身上，妹妹因而窒息致死。

當時爸媽出門買東西，回家後發現小女兒昏迷不醒，緊急將女兒送往醫院急救，但入院後50分鐘宣告不治。
