國道化學車翻覆　回堵30公里

【楊勝裕／新竹報導】國道中山高南下106.6公里處新竹、苗栗交界，今晨六時許發生一起化學槽車翻車意外，造成國道南下大堵車，車陣綿延到楊梅30多公里之遠，截至目前仍嚴重塞車中，警方建議今早有意走國道中山高南下用路人，儘量改走其他道路。
 
國道警方說，一台由32歲羅姓司機開拖車，載著20噸的顯影液，從桃園蘆竹南下開往台中途中，行經新竹市及苗栗交界處時，疑因右前輪機件故障，造成整台車重心偏移，車頭撞上路旁水泥護欄，後方的化學槽翻在路旁，羅姓司機受到輕傷送醫。
 
由於現場是腐蝕性化學藥劑，可能造成化學災害，因此消防局通報環保署毒災應變小組前往處理，經現場初步鑑定，由吊車進行吊掛，將化學槽車翻正後，再由拖運公司派車將化學槽拖走。警方估計，由於中秋節國道車流極大，且已車陣回流湖口段，至少30公里，預計不到十點車潮仍無法散去，建議用路人轉省道或走西濱公路。
