北京機場爆炸案庭訊結束 擇日宣判

北京市朝陽區人民法院今天(17日)開庭，審理山東上訪民眾冀中星在北京首都機場引爆自製爆裂物、危及大眾安全一案。

冀中星應訊時表示，他不是故意要引爆爆裂物，並對自己的行為感到後悔。

冀中星的辯護律師說，冀中星只是想引起關注，並非故意要引爆炸彈或傷害任何人；他要求法院撤銷對冀中星的刑事追究。

今天的庭訊歷時約2個半小時，法院將擇期宣判，冀中星面臨3至10年有期徒刑的懲罰。

33歲的冀中星先前曾經表示，2005年他在廣東省遭到官員毆打成殘，多年來上訪投訴無門。

今年7月20日晚間，坐著輪椅的冀中星在首都機場3號航站旅客出口處引爆自製爆炸裝置，造成自己重傷和1名民警輕傷。

這起爆炸事故引發譴責，但也受到觀察家的同情，他們認為，冀中星的言行暴露出北京政府並未妥適處理社會邊緣人憂傷的問題。
