太陽能人型驅鳥機　省力省錢

【戴安瑋／台北報導】小米為原住民傳統農作物，但收穫前1個月，極易遭鳥類啄食，若不防制，損失率可高達95%以上，通常農民以人工驅鳥是目前驅鳥方式中最有效的，但造成農民的經濟及體能負擔，農委會台東區農業改良場參考傳統人工驅鳥模式，今年9月研製出可取代傳統小米人力驅鳥之「太陽能人型驅鳥器」。

台東農改場說，「太陽能人型驅鳥機」是利用太陽能板發電，將電能儲存於電瓶，機器可在田間獨立運作。
