【綜合報導】美國財政部前部長桑默斯 (Larry Summers) 前日宣布退出競選下屆美國聯邦準備理事會（Federal Reserve，Fed，聯準會）主席，投資人對於美國貨幣刺激經濟政策的樂觀期待，激勵美股標準普爾 (S&P) 500 指數收盤再度逼近空前新高，道瓊收漲逾百點。

美國股市
道瓊工業平均指數勁揚 118.72 點或 0.77%，收 15494.78 點。
Nasdaq 指數下跌 4.34 點或 0.12%，收 3717.85 點。
S&P 500 指數上揚 9.61 點或 0.57%，收 1697.60 點。
費城半導體指數上揚 2.12 點或 0.43%，收 490.35 點。
