馬總統要求國軍兵力須進一步精簡

馬總統上午對著百餘位接受軍人節表達的國軍官兵表示，國軍不要因為洪仲丘這項個案，就懷憂喪志，產生挫折感，國軍救災的身影普受好評，證明軍人仍然是安定民心的真正力量。但馬總統也明白表示，國防部的募兵工作，確實受到洪仲丘案影響，但影響並不大，但他堅持，無論有無受到洪案影響，都要把募兵制做好，他允諾政府會儘可能逐步增加國防預算，投入更多資源，打造一支能怔慣戰的精兵。

馬總統上午出席「民國102年軍人節暨全民國防教育日」表揚活動，他以近半小時時間，談及洪仲丘案後國軍各方面的改革，同時也下達募兵要成功，兵力必須進一步精簡的命令。
