國人碘不足　「大脖子」病恐增加

【綜合報導】台大醫學院內科教授張天鈞近來調查約5000人的健檢資料發現，國人甲狀腺體積中位數逐年增加，4年增1.3倍。陽明大學內科副教授鄧錦泉也懷疑國人碘攝取量不足，俗稱「大脖子」的甲狀腺腫大問題恐再出現。

《聯合報》報導，政府原本強制在食鹽中加碘，但2004年起開放未加碘的玫瑰鹽、海鹽等鹽類進口後，國人碘攝取量明顯下降；另種可能是小吃攤使用中國生產的不含碘鹽。專家表示，政府若未再重視此問題，可能會讓國人碘攝取量退回70年前，增加甲狀腺疾病。
