美「51區」解密　外星人存在仍是謎

【綜合報導】美國中情局（CIA）日前公布解密文件，首度證實「51區」（Area 51）的存在，但對外星人隻字未提，讓飛碟迷們大失所望，認為美國政府有意隱瞞真相。這一份名為《中情局與高空偵察：1954年到1974年的U-2與OXCART計劃 》解密文件，共407頁，部分內容已遭塗黑。但2005年向當局提出解密申請的喬治華盛頓大學資深研究員李切森（Jeffrey Richelson）表示，這是官方首度承認51區的存在與確切位置。

自稱曾接觸過外星人的飛碟迷赫溫絲（Audrey Hewins）說，她認為中情局是在「試水溫」，看看人們對謊言與掩蓋真相會有什麼反應。許多民眾也懷疑解密文件可能經過修改，多處遭塗黑的段落說不定就是提到小小的綠色外星人。
