飼主要求安樂死　獸醫救狗竟挨告

睜著大大的雙眼，面對收容所新環境，狗狗班吉滿臉驚恐，直到看見熟悉的外勞來接牠回家，才開心地搖尾巴，躲過被安樂死的命運。獸醫楊東盛：「那時來的時候，牠攤在地上，完全攤在地上，我診斷後告訴菲傭是中風。」

原來班吉的飼主是澳洲駐台代表官員，上個月他看班吉中風癱瘓，交代外勞請獸醫執行安樂死，但經診斷發現，其實班吉只要稍微治療住院就能復原，獸醫不忍心，把班吉救活帶回家收養，沒想到飼主知道後，氣得罵獸醫拿錢不做事，提告詐欺。

獸醫楊東盛：「我治療好以後帶回家養，但牠不小心逃走了，他說好他知道，會再做處理，但我跟菲傭和辦事處職員聊，我覺得他們那老闆，最後還是會帶去安樂死，就是有一天有機會，還是會把牠安樂死。」

由於澳洲籍的飼主不是親自前來，可能雙方透過第三者溝通，才會出現誤會，只是好心救狗卻因而挨告，獸醫不怕惹上官司，就怕班吉沒人領養仍會被安樂死，幸好飼主最後決定把班吉帶回家，也承諾會好好照顧，珍惜這一條小生命。
