王室公告員有假？老翁：「上頭條真爽」

【綜合報導】英國王室的最新成員喬治王子22日誕生，當時一名身穿傳統服飾的王室公告員，在醫院門口大聲宣讀小王子出生的公告，許多人都覺得王室傳統果然讓人很有感覺。不過外媒近日陸續踢爆，王室壓根沒有這號公告員。
 
76歲的艾普頓（Tony Appleton）是名死忠的王室擁護者，喬治王子出世當天，艾普頓從一名記者處得知消息後，立刻精心裝扮自己，搭車趕往醫院宣佈王子誕生的好消息。他事後向媒體承認，自己根本沒有獲得王室任命。
 
艾普頓說：「當我（第二天）打開報紙，上頭印的全是我的臉，我簡直不敢相信。」
