8月1日起戶籍縣市內任一戶政事務所都可請領身分證

【徐珮君／台北報導】為方便民眾領取身分證，內政部次長蕭家淇下午表示，內政部日前邀集相關機關及各縣市政府會商，決定放寬民眾申請領取身分證的區域限制，現在民眾申請初領及補領身分證，必須在戶籍地所屬的戶政事務所申辦，8月1日起，只要到戶籍地縣市內任一個戶政事務所都可請領。

對於旅居在台灣的離島居民如果遺失身分證，現在必須回到離島的戶籍地補辦，這次也同步放寬設籍離島地區的民眾可在本島各縣市任一戶政事務所申請初領及補領身分證。目前平均每年約有4千3百多件離島居民補領身分證案。
