【綜合報導】英國一對年輕情侶相戀時因故分離，事隔70多年，他們終於成為夫妻。

布蕾特（Bernie Bluett）17歲時，在南威爾士過暑假時認識了18歲的韓福瑞（Bob Humphries），當時布蕾特就認定韓福瑞為終身伴侶。可惜約會不久後便爆發了第二次世界大戰。布蕾特加入了皇家女子空軍，定居在南威爾士，而韓福瑞成為了皇家傘兵隊的工程師，並搬到約克郡，各分東西。
 
期間Humphries曾郵寄書和求婚信給布蕾特，不料布蕾特的父母私下將信件給收了起來，並沒有交給女兒。二人自此失去聯絡，其後分別嫁娶。

事隔70多年，二人的伴侶相繼去世，布蕾特的女兒在網路上搜尋到韓福瑞的消息，二人再度重逢，仍對彼此有愛意，韓福瑞這次親自求婚，獲得各自子女的祝福，終於取得美人歸。
