新北市第15屆松年大學結業典禮，11日於市府大禮堂舉行，結業學員高達9,816人，副市長李四川分別頒發博、碩、學士結業證書，及各項全勤、精神和服務等獎項。李四川特別引用古人詩句「今日敬人老，明日人敬老；大家都會老，只是遲或早！」與長者共勉。
李四川指出，新北市升格以來，朱立倫市長非常重視老人福利，除了推動「在地就養、健康樂活--五安服務方案」、老人共餐外，松年大學班級也越開越多，並配合在地長者的需求，課程越來越活潑多元，同時他讚譽在場阿公阿嬤，因為「學到老、學得越多」，因此「活得更長壽、更健康」。他並鼓勵學員踴躍參加志願服務，當個快樂的銀髮志工。
社會局長李麗圳表示，在松年大學上課的學員們，相當珍惜共同學習的機會，不僅是知識的增長、興趣的培養，更結交了許多志同道合的好友，充實了老年生活，可以說「老身、老伴、老友、老趣」通通兼顧了，因此松年大學真是銀髮長輩們的不老園地，歡迎設籍新北市、年滿58歲以上的長者多多報名參加。
社會局指出，第15屆松年大學結業典禮第1梯次結業的班別包括板橋區公所、板橋區婦女聯誼協會、板橋區長壽會、板橋區象棋協會、板橋區關懷公益協會、新北市六堆客家文化協會、板橋區婦女愛心服務會、板橋區松嵐社區發展協會、中華民國婦幼關懷教育推廣協會等，共計28 班，1,003學員。
社會局表示，第一梯次結業的長者中，80歲以上的有36人，其中以板橋區婦女聯誼協會太極拳班的李葉寶珠，今年89歲最為年長。更有71對夫妻結伴在松年大學上課，老夫老妻一起同班上課，感情更加彌篤。另今年榮獲碩、博士資格的學員數均創歷屆新高，其中年齡最長者為102歲的劉鵬華，是在永和區敬老護幼協會紀錄口述歷史班上課，他的努力好學精神，非常令人感佩。
