中央氣象局今（11）晚8點30分已發布今年編號第7號颱風「蘇力」的陸上颱風警報，雖然蘇力颱風威力略為減弱成中度颱風，但近中心最大風速仍有每秒48公尺，威力仍不容小覷。目前「蘇力」位於宜蘭東南東方730公里的海面上，以每小時23公里的速度向西轉西北西方向進行，氣象局預估，明（12）日上午起蘇力的外圍環流將開始影響台灣，明日中午至週六（13日）上半天為影響最劇烈的時後，包括北部、東部地區都須提高戒備。

根據氣象局的資料顯示，目前蘇力的7級風暴風半徑280公里，10級風暴風半徑100公里，近中心最大風速為每秒48公尺，瞬間最大風速為每秒58公尺。
