嘉縣竹崎鄉貨車墜落深谷男性駕駛身亡

嘉義縣竹崎鄉文峰村昨晚發生一起轎車墜落深谷的意外事故。消防單位獲報趕往救援，費時二個多小時，才在山谷裡找到車身已經嚴重扭曲變型的車子，而車內男性駕駛已經傷重身亡。

嘉義縣消防局指出，車子墜落山谷地點位於竹崎鄉文峰村往大坑方向的產業道路，昨晚七點多，山區仍下著大雨，警方不排除轎車是因為天雨視線不清，加上打滑失控，才會墜谷。

由於山谷深達一百多公尺，消防救難人員趕到現場，冒險以垂降方式下到山谷搜尋，花了二個多小時，才找到已經嚴重扭曲變形的車體，以及傷重身亡，年約六十歲的男性駕駛。死者身份及車禍確實原因，正由警方進一步調查中。
