補進強投Max Scherzer之後，國民傳出打算交易「天才小史」Stephen Strasburg。

根據知名美媒《今日美國》報導，國民對交易小史一事，採開放態度，並傾向留下近年漸入佳境的Jordan Zimmermann。

Strasburg為了避免薪資仲裁，日前與國民達成年薪740萬美元協議，明年球季將成自由球員。

現年26歲，Strasburg過去3年都有不錯表現，總計557又1/3局，自責分率3.10，去年先發34場，投215局、242K，都寫下生涯單季新高，自責分率3.14，值得一提的是，Strasburg生涯三振率2成8，僅次於達比修有的3成01及Scherze的2成86。

Zimmermann去年則出賽32場，收下14勝5敗，自責分率2.66。
