蔡英文期待朱立倫突破困難

民進黨主席蔡英文今天到苗栗市為立委補選黨籍候選人吳宜臻助選，陪同車隊掃街拜票，沿途獲民眾熱烈回應，蔡英文說，吳宜臻縣長選舉後，知名度大增，且吳宜臻有爆發力，又深耕地方，她對苗栗立委補選的選情很有信心。

至於新北市長朱立倫將擔任國民黨主席，蔡英文說，她當然也希望朱立倫這次選舉能夠順利成功，當選之後期待朱立倫能夠給台灣社會意見，包括政黨、公民社團的，一起來努力把苗栗帶向更好。
