歐洲理事會主席圖斯克今天與土耳其總統艾爾段通電話，表達希望雙方明年能有良好進展的期待。但對土耳其日前整肅媒體一事，圖斯克並未在聲明中說明是否當面譴責艾爾段。

圖斯克（Donald Tusk）今天發表聲明表示，上午與艾爾段（Recep Tayyip Erdogan）通話。

他認為這是一個很好的機會，能直接和艾爾段針對歐盟與土耳其未來關係進行溝通。他也期待雙方明年能有良好發展。

圖斯克表示，他針對庫德族議題與土耳其安置超過150萬名敘利亞難民一事，向艾爾段表達肯定，也強調歐盟會繼續協助土耳其。

儘管圖斯克在聲明中表示，也和艾爾段談到「近來的拘留」，與公正、透明司法程序的重要性。不過聲明並未說明圖斯克是否當面譴責艾爾段的逮捕行動，用詞上也特意模糊，沒有點名。

土耳其14日突然逮捕20多名反對艾爾段的媒體人。歐盟外交和安全政策高級代表茉格里尼（FedericaMogherini）和區域政策專員哈恩（Johannes Hahn）對此表示，此事違背新聞自由與民主核心原則，且違背歐洲價值和標準。(中央社)
