雲林縣立仁國小校舍從民國64年起分12期興建，新舊相接屋齡不一，多間校舍為「老背少」，耐震係數偏低。為維護師生上課安全以及教學環境品質，參佐虎尾古蹟布袋戲館建築風格後，27日拆除重建，預計105年中完工。縣長蘇治芬希望建構一處優質的讀書環境，提供師生更安全、快樂的讀書空間。
