不說你不知道　原來「鬼島」是這樣來的

一個頗富教育意義的短片，在網路上成為熱門話題。
 
由Taiwan Bar Studio製作的「台灣吧-Taiwan Bar」第1集，昨天起在YouTube播出。內容描述日治時期，日本政府大力推動都市計畫，把台灣打造為一個現代化社會。包括周休一日的星期制、格林威治標準時間等，早在100多年前就引進台灣。
 
那為什麼要叫「鬼島」呢？這稱呼可不是最近才有。日本人來台後，由於當時瘟疫肆虐，很多日本人病死異鄉，才開始有台灣是「鬼界之島」的說法。不過這項說法，已經不可考。
 
影片推出不到一天，已有近3萬人觀賞。網友稱讚真好看，像上了一堂歷史課；也有網友感嘆，早知道會變現在這樣，當初由日本統治，說不定比較好。（即時新聞中心／綜合報導）
