標準普爾公司（S&P）預測，由於持續性資本開支，加上派發較高股息，未來12個月內，馬來西亞企業的總債務將不斷提高。

標普根據追蹤的24家大馬企業結果表示，大部分企業今年營業額都明顯放緩，但資本開支仍偏高，管理層也傾向高派息率的管理政策，因此總債務料將呈現上升趨勢。

不過，與東南亞其他國家相比，大馬企業的總債務成長率仍較小，尤其菲律賓企業總債務在2008年至2014年首季暴漲近3倍，泰國與新加坡企業也達到翻倍增長，主要是大馬企業的業務風險概況相當均勻，大部分都擁有市場經營優勢。(中央社)
