菲律賓拳王「帕奎奧」，準備在中國大陸開辦拳擊學校，傳授拳擊技巧。

德通社發自馬尼拉的報導指出，「帕奎奧」將跟中國政府合作，在大陸來辦拳擊學校，校名是「曼尼.帕奎奧拳擊教育學院」，第一所學校建在北京，然後也在大陸其他城市興建學校。

「帕奎奧」準備在學校營運後，定期訪問大陸，監督教學，傳授拳擊技巧。

「帕奎奧」說，他見到過很多大陸拳擊選手，他們基本訓練不足。他認為，如果大陸選手接受紮實基本訓練，大陸將有非常優秀的拳擊選手，甚至是冠軍。
