（中央社倫敦23日綜合外電報導）美國戰地記者佛里慘遭伊拉克的伊斯蘭國組織斬首，響應伊斯蘭國號召，在中東參與聖戰的3名英國男子，已浮上檯面，成為可能是在影帶中行刑砍掉佛里頭顱的蒙面兇手。

倫敦「每日郵報」（Daily Mail）報導，這3名英國男子年紀都在20幾歲左右，被認為人在敘利亞的伊斯蘭國（IS）首府拉卡（Raqqa）。安全消息人士說，英國國內反情報及國家安全部門「軍情五處」（MI5），越來越接近查出這位名叫「約翰」劊子手的真實身份。

這名說話帶有英國腔的聖戰士，當著攝影機用刀割掉佛里（James Foley）的頭顱，聲稱這是為報復美軍空襲伊斯蘭國據點。

曾遭約翰看管的1名前伊斯蘭國法籍俘虜透露，英國有1群聖戰士跟伊斯蘭國混在一起，約翰是其中之一，他們自封為「披頭幫」。

披頭幫中被英國當局認為有可能是「約翰」的人有3位，分別是23歲的巴利（Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary）、20歲的胡笙．布瑞塔尼（Abu Hussain Al-Britani），以及20出頭的阿布杜拉．布瑞塔尼（Abu Abdullahal-Britani）。

巴利是來自倫敦的前饒舌歌手，胡笙．布瑞塔尼是來自伯明罕的電腦駭客，阿布杜拉．布瑞塔尼則是朴茨茅斯（Portsmouth）人氏。(中央社)
